2015-16: The 20 Top Films


20. The Good Dinosaur                          



A heartwarming tale of a young dinosaur named Arlo, who finds hope when he meets Spot, a Neanderthal boy who offers his help and friendship. Together, the unlikely duo embark on an epic adventure to reunite Arlo with his beloved family.



19. Southpaw




Knock Out. A nouveau classic tale of redemption, revenge and rehabilitation. Billy Hope loses everything to his foes, even his family, and is left at the end of his tether. Yet despite all of this he finds an unlikely saviour in Tick Willis, a former fighter who spends his days training the amateurs of the city. Hope fights to reclaim that which he has lost, and he has given no greater sacrifice.



18. Zootropolis



From the largest elephant to the smallest shrew, the city of Zootopia is a mammal metropolis for all animals to grow as one. When Judy Hopps becomes the first rabbit to join the police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law. Determined to prove herself, Judy jumps at the opportunity to solve a mysterious case. Unfortunately, that means working with Nick Wilde, a wily fox who makes her job even harder.


17. The Jungle Book




Animals. You've heard remixes, now watch the remake of the children's classic. Though the story may have changed slightly, the emotional and heartfelt characters reignited the initial passion we felt for the Disney classic.





16. Bridge of Spies


Tom Hanks stars as the American attorney tasked with negotiating the release of a U-2 spy plane pilot who was shot down over Russia at the height of the Cold War in this historical drama 
















15. Spooks: The Greater Good



Kit Harington. The King of the North swaps his sword for a 47mm and heads South for the winter.




14. Straight Outta Compton




Ice Cube isn't the only badass with an attitude as he re-create the world-class story of N.W.A.





13. Batman vs Superman



Who needs to fight when your mums have the same name and theres a bad guy trying to kill everyone?














12. Spectre





James Bond is always cool, suits, guns, cars, women, killing people. Also brings back Bonds greatest nemesis, but no spoilers, sadly this is Daniel Craigs last film, so ladies be sad that the ripped murderer is leaving the screens. Not as good as Skyfall. Cameron Argo has signed up to take the role further and will portray a more scottish and violent bond.













11. Ant Man



You would've thought he'd have been drowned by now. Small hearts, small heroes. A touching tale of a small man trying to find salvation in the form of his beloved daughter. Not tear-worthy, but getting there.















10. The Hateful Eight




Tarantino, you know it'll be violent, dark humoured and well written. Sam L Jackson is in it and thats always cool.














9. Jurassic World





Chris Pratt is pretty fit. Take it or leave it ladies. Oh and velociraptors, dinosaurs and more Chris  Pratt. Although i preferred him in parks and rec








8. Furious 7




When your first thought is, i can't wait for the latest fast and furious film!!! Not like there were enough already, oh and the best guy died so fyi probably sucks.














7.The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2



Jennifer Lawrence. Enough said, what a woman, the hottest women always beat people up.















6.Legend




Tom Hardy outclasses the competition in this classic cult film, whilst co-star Tom Hardy has perfect chemistry with his partner Tom Hardy. The makeup team have done a great job making sure all the characters look almost identical, they're even built the same! Oscars in store for all the Tom Hardy's!














5. Captain America: Civil War




Captain Murica takes on a man in a red suit, they fight lots, no clear winner, entertaining at heart. Plus Scarlet Johansson, phwoar.














4. The Martian


414 days. That's how long it would take for supplies to reach Mark Watney on Mars. Stranded alone after a fierce storm rips him from his team, and presumed dead, Watney must use every corner of his mind to find a way to survive. Back home, NASA work day and night to recover their fallen comrade, relying on the work of his space team. An emotional tale of loss, despair and recovery.




3. The Revenant




Leo may have won an Oscar, but he didn't have much luck with that bear. In his time on holiday, he grows a nice beard and sees the sights of Murica.












2. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens


Han Solo. What a man.













1. Deadpool


Chimichangas. The love story of the century. The ugliest face in history. Stan Lee in a Strip Club. Enough Said.
